Apparently it’s made in Taiwan (this Australian company even admits it).

Anyone know where I can buy it (or something similar) in Taipei and how much it costs (and it if its any good)?

Basically I want to use it (or something similar) for recording telephone interviews into podcasts.

A friend also recommended this - bswusa.com/proditem.asp?item=HOST , but I think what it does and the price is a bit overkill - seen anything like this around?

Yep, I have one made in Taiwan by MSI, works very well, but horrific “translation” (hah! :raspberry: ) of manual.

Bought at Zhuenguo Dientzu, less than 3000 I think. There is a cheaper one made in Korea, too, also full accessories.
