She is really the best player right now. Watching her play is like watching Tiger Woods a few years back. I know a lot of Americans are turned off by seeing one of the many Asian players in the field win again, but I think it is always great for a sport to have one really dominant player at the top (or two to have a rivalry going) who breaks records and plays at another level than the rest. Without Tiger the PGA is so much less entertaining. The media is really hoping for someone like McIlroy to become the next superstar. No one gets really excited if players like Kaymar or Choi win a big tournament. For the LPGA I would hope that Paula Creamer elevated her game on a consistant basis. She’s gorgeous, flashy, and very likable. I think she was one of the players who waited till the end to congratulate Yani, a great gesture, considering that she had an awful last day. ---
