Terror Attacks: 2006

A sign of the times? We’ve got the yearly Morgue:2006 and Typhoon: 2006 threads. Even if this one is kept to simple reportage, I bet it easily outstrips those others in number of posts. What a world. Ain’t progress great? :frowning:

At least 15 people have been killed in three explosions in the northern Indian pilgrimage city of Varanasi.

At least 60 others were injured, police said. The first blast occurred at a Hindu temple and was followed by two more at the main railway station.

Police also said they defused two bombs in the city. No-one has so far said they were behind the attacks.

Varanasi is the religious capital of Hinduism and is usually packed with Indian pilgrims and foreign tourists.[/quote]

Jaboney – didn’t anyone tell you? The Bush administration doesn’t want anyone counting the number of terror incidents anymore. If you persist in this sort of behavior, the Dept. of Homeland Security will have to take direct action to ensure that you don’t expose to the terrorists the fact that anyone is counting that they’re being attacked.

No, mofangongren, you’ve got it all wrong. Don’t you ever listen to your government? These terrorist attacks are a good thing. They show that the crazed lunies are desperate. The more people die the more we know we are winning the war on terror.
