Does anybody know if the Songkran Festival (Water festival) is still celebrated in Taipei? I know in the past there were celebrations near the Nanshijiao station at the bottom of the orange line of the MRT. There’s a Little Burma neighborhood on Huaxin St.
If anybody knows when or where this festival will take place this year, please post the info here. I have read that the festival usually takes place during April of each year, but I don’t know how it’s celebrated in Taiwan, especially with droughts and all.
