Hi
I want to know how to write certain numbers in Thai…I went to Wikipedia, but they only show 1-10, and then 20, 30 etc…
I want to know how to write 24, 57…stuff like that…and not assume that I can just add a twenty plus a four symbol.

Tie his cape properly.
Ashley, I was thinking, did you want Thai numerals or written Thai for the numbers? What I gave for 24 was the written Thai, not those funky numbers. Got tangled in me cape!

Ze Thai numbers look like Cambodian. They are different, but I’ve forgotten 'em now.

Just extrapolate from there.
You just string them together as we do with our numerals:
24 =
๒๔
57 =
๕๗
Say different, though.
They always used Arabic numerals everywhere I went in Thailand, so I never bothered to learn the traditional Thai script version.
There’s the odd bus or songthaew that doesn’t, but you are mostly right. Mind you I like the watches with Thai numerals.

Sweet!
Our Arabic numerals and the Thai numerals come from the same origin: Indic numerals.
