I’m blowing out some friends for lunch at Thai Town (瓦城) next week.
Can anyone recommend what to order for a party of 12?
I did not know that Thai Town is actually Burmese-Thai. Because it’s a large group, can you suggest something of good value. It’s lunchtime so I’ll order in advance so that we can get in and outta there rightaway
whatever you do, make sure an order the coconut curry chicken. I am addicted to that stuff.
Was at the AnHe location and the lunch went off without a hitch. It really helped that they have a separate set-menu card specifically for groups, suggesting meals for 3-, 4-, and 6-people
Because we were a larger group, I chose the 6-person one and added 4 additional ones.
Because I just picked the 6-person set, I’m not even sure if the coconut curry was included! But we did enjoy what we had
thai town has great food. I’ve never been disapointed.
I started frequenting a small place next to Zhishan MRT station though and haven’t been to TT in a while. It only has a chinese sign in front and until recently no english menus. They have an english menu now and the food is wonderful and very cheap. It’s right next to the 7-11 on the east side of the station. Anyone else know of this place?
I live in Thailand right now and can think of at least six dishes, all quite different, that fit that description.
But they’re all tasty!
