I had looked into spending some time in Phnom Penh, a city I really enjoyed before, I noticed that my preferred accommodation, my favourite restaurant, and an out-of-this-world pastry shop all had shut down. 
As a result, I’ve switched up my plans and will be taking a short trip to Bangkok instead. I do however hope this grim situation does not persist!
For purchasing baht, do seasoned forumosans recommend purchasing the currency in Taiwan (I’m holding NTD)—or convert upon arriving at BKK? Something else? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
