Thank you Swedish Guy from 2017

Three years ago today, an EXTREMELY kind Swedish gentleman drove me around Taipei so I could purchase and move a washer and fridge into my apartment. Traffic was a nightmare, I was not very helpful, and he ended up carrying a full size fridge up six flights of stairs.

I don’t know if you’re still on here cool Swedish dude, but I think of you and your generosity often.

The Swedish Guy from 2017 seems sweetish.

Sounds like the beginning of an erotic novel.

I know a nice Swedish guy. But I don’t think he could ever carry a full size fridge up any stairs.

I also know a nice Swedish guy that could carry a frig up stairs, but he doesn’t own a car…
How many swedes are in tpe?

Maybe it was Tony.

I know a Swedish guy who can lift a fridge up a flight of stairs and has a car. But he’s never lived in Taiwan.

Where’s @TheLostSwede when you need him?

I miss that guy.

Guy

I know a Swedish guy who can lift a fridge up a flight of stairs, has a car and lives in Taiwan but he isn’t nice.

I know a Swedish guy that could carry a car up a flight of stairs, drives a fridge and is nice enough

Who doesn’t love a good Kentucky Fried Movie reference?

Naturally, he’s lost.

I know a rude American that sold his car after having a second child that could carry 2 fridge up a flight of stairs on his shoulders.

For his emotional health, I hope you thanked the Swedish guy before today.

I’m 90% sure @thelostswede was him!

Based on google maps, he seems to have been reviewing places in Taiwan recently. I think he’s around though I have not spotted him on forumosa for quite some time.

EDIT: based on his forumosa profile, you can also find more details (possibly a contact too) here:

I hope this helps!

Guy

Are you moving again? If you don’t get back in touch with the Swedish guy I can recommend you a company who specialises in moving stuff.

Could I find out who he is?

Maybe if I live on a 5th floor apartment without elevators he could carry my milling machine up the flights of stairs.

It weights as much as a car.

Heyyyy…
Still cool and kind but changes a lot after 3 years of breathing constant TW polluted air.
Now, having beer belly, receeding hair and somehow cannot carry myself onto 6th floor stairs without panting and sweating like a pig.

Other that, still the cool and kind Swedish guy…
