I know that it is a little early, but do any of the Taichung based people know if any restaurants serve Thanksgiving Dinner? I didn’t have one last year and felt really homesick. Thanksgiving has long been my favorite secular holiday.

Finga’s Base Camp and Finga’s Fine Foods will have Thanksgiving Dinner next Thursday night and all day Friday.
Finga’s does nice food. I might go along there myself. I’m neither a U.S. citizen nor Canadian, but I can produce a fine rhotic ‘r’ sound with the best of them (I lived for a long time in Devon, from where the Mayflower set sail and where the natives have a very pronounced rhotic ‘r’) so I should be alright.
Did Dereke, the owner, say that you should book in advance?
