The band, X

Some members of the band X put out a rock-a-billy album under a different name. I will give oogles and gobs of guanxi if someone can tell me what was the band’s name. I heard the album ages ago and really liked it and so I want to get the CD.

Thanks in advance.

Old and In the Way is the name of a Jerry Garcia bluegrass band :stuck_out_tongue: .

Ah, X. When I first heard the opening chords to “More Fun in the New World” back in '83 I remember thinking, “Why doesn’t every band sound like this?”

Saw them play in a small bar in Vancouver. Great show. I ended up losing my two front teeth.
