I’m wondering where is the best place to look for laptops in Taiwan? Japan has places where you can get a cheap 2nd hand laptop in near new condition. Does Taiwan have a similar type of deal? I’m probably looking at spending around NT8000. I don’t mind 2nd hand. I think the most intensive thing I want it to do is play divx. Hopefully with a DVD drive and CD burner - but I might just get something more compact and have an external CD burner/ DVD.
Can anyone share any information?
What kind of specs should I expect for around 8000NT? How much are PIII Thinkpad’s going for at the moment?
