Hey all, we haven’t had a decent word game for about 50 million years, so let’s do one now.
This is similar to one that was popular back in the day, before f.com lost some of its mojo. Let’s see if we can get it back.
OK, HERE’S DA RULZ (I’m writing that in caps cos more than a few people not noticing is inevitabre… inevit… inevitab… inevitabrrrre!
You reply to the previous post with a word that is related in some way to the word that is given in that (previous) post. The relationship can be anything you want, but if it’s not ridiculously obvious, please explain the connection.
The new word you give MUST start with the letter either before or after the first letter of the old word. For example, if the old word is “elephant”, then the new word can start with a “d” or an “f”.
(EDIT) Let’s try to keep it in English. Proper names are allowed as long as they’re well known.
Ok, so as an example, if the word given is “dog”, I could follow that with “cat” because “cat” is related to “dog” in that they are mortal enemies (yes, they are).
So let’s follow on from “cat”, OK?
Oh, and P.S. I might add more rules to this post if I find a need to later.
Please quote the previous word before you post your own. That’ll stop things getting stuffed up if two people post at the same time (and if that happens, the first one is the one that counts).
