Hallo,
I am sorry to bother everyone again, but everyone was so nice and informative that I thought to try here again. I am applying to school to go to Ming Chuan University to obtain a bachelor’s. I already have family there, my father is a U.S. citizen who has been living in Taiwan legally for 12+ years. He is married and has 3 other children who live with him. I was wondering, can I be able to get a blood relative visa, or am I too old? I am 20 and will be 21 May 11. I am flying out March 5th and am running short on time and options as school does not start until Sept/Aug… Thank you so much for your time and patience… I looked for answers, but all I got was spousal/children under 20…^_^;
Probably only if your family is Taiwanese to begin with …
thank you^^
Thats because chilkdren over 20 are not considered as dependents anymore. SO even thouhg I’m an ROC national my son is not. After he turns 20 he will lose his ARC as a dependent.
