The Dems 2025 and beyond

The left has no agenda other than never Trump.

Their top contender is a radical bartender…

The dems will go the way of the Federalist Party.

At this point, they could run a literal donkey and it would win.

They did try with Harris…that sure worked…

But to your point…they’ll probably have to

I’m going to enjoy your tears in November.

You think this is about the mid terms?

The pendulum has already swung and is gaining momentum.

Biden wasn’t the force…it was the brakes…and they are off right now.

Personally I think we will see a third party come and replace the woke democrats or the old boomer libs.

As long as the republicans lose power at this point and trump gets his powers checked I wouldn’t care who wins.

Trump can talk shit all he wants about Biden or Obama, but even a donkey voter realizes that their life is not better than it was before. Major job losses, gas and grocery bills up significantly. Trump can deflect but he is going to own it.

I miss the days of sleepy Biden at this point.

Indeed he will. It’s not easy to be the president who restructures the system and he knows that.

I’m sure you do miss sleepy joe because it allowed you and others to do just that: sleep on the wheel

You know also, if not just for spite reasons, the dems will revert most of what he tried to do anyway.

the only lingering mess will be the major recession he brought on.

You’re jumping to conclusions and you might be right. That being said…bit by bit…the policies of Donald Trump will continue to be implemented.

Do you know how I know?

Because Sleepy Biden did just that after he won. Most of Trump’s key policies were kept such as “buy American” and the anti China stance.

Do you know why? Because these policies are what are best for a changing America. The world has changed and America with it.

Add to that the fact that Gen alpha leans conservative and that conservatives tend to have more kids…

The liberal era of the twentieth era is over.

It’s changing all right. Staring down a massive recession that’s worldwide and intentionally created. All caused by Republican policies. I doubt the kids will be right leaning after whats coming soon economically.

You’re right. Fortunately the USA is the most shielded from it. Imagine the leverage the US will have in a recession filled world when its the only supplier of secure oil, military equipment and dollars through the IMF?

I’d be more worried about the kids in China who are already at the end of their rope.

I’d be more worried about the people in Taiwan when the kids in China are at the end of their rope.

I tend to agree with Barney Frank. Don’t forget the recent past included things like defund the police, wide ranging gender/animism identity politics, trans sports, pronoun-ism, open borders, etc., with moderate liberals mum about keeping the more radical left in check regarding policy/ideas that simply won’t win elections.

Granted, some of that is the conservative right dishonestly and successfully framing the outliers as mainstream democrats, but that’s the social and media ecosystem we have.

Beijing is easier to seize than Taipei I’m afraid…

The Supreme Court on Wednesday sharply weakened a key provision of the landmark Voting Rights Act, a ruling that limits the consideration of race in drawing voting maps and could usher in Republican gains in the House.

The decision is expected to touch off a scramble by Republicans to redraw minority-majority districts, especially in the South. New districts could shift the balance of power in Congress by imperiling the reelection prospects of some Black Democrats, possibly as soon as November’s midterms in some instances.

The court’s conservative majority found Louisiana unlawfully discriminated by race when it created a second majority-Black congressional district to comply with the VRA. But the court did not strike down the provision, known as Section 2, as unconstitutional as many voting rights advocates had feared.

Yes, because we can always trust legislatures in the South to do the right thing when it comes to the blacks. They have a long history of doing that.

Everything since the infamous January 6th suggests it is unlikely to happen. And you need to remember that Trump was reelected. The American people are getting what they voted for. Why would anybody stop this now?

He was reelected as people didn’t care for Kamala and he promised big change that was going to help the average American.

Instead he started new wars and brought the economy into a mess and destroyed the American reputation worldwide. That’s not what average voters voted for.

The Biden Administration was deeply unpopular so people held their noses and said, “What the hell, let’s take a chance on reversing course, what have we got to lose?”
