The Dems 2025 and beyond

The dems have lost control of their party. The leftists and wokesters have taken over.

Fortunately many moderate liberals have left that party and joined the GOP.

Combine that with the karma gerrymandering and the South gaining seats and soon the democratic communists will be put back where they belong.

It doesn’t matter what is said. It’s what is happening.

The great blue hope that socialists have for the midterms is just that - hope. It might slow the tide but it can’t stop it.

America has stopped communism once it can do it again.

More seats

Well if that is true, this should get some registrations. Add Joe Biden and they’ll be in chains.

But the Mexican Americans will be spared apparently.

According to CNN of all sources more blacks are voting Republican.

The days of blacks being gaslight into the democratic plantation are soon over.

That being said while this might be more transactional and could swing the other way..the DNC going communist (many minorities left communist home countries so…) and woke (a champagne socialist ideology) they are losing the mainstream minority that just want opportunity.

I’ve been struck by how many recent, supposedly grass-roots protests have featured professionally made signs, tee shirts, hats, etc. They seem to be plug-n-play affairs coordinated so that the only thing protesters need to bring is themselves and an attitude.

The tech bros abandoned Biden two years ago. The spending hasn’t stopped.

Recently there has been a massive and coordinated movement, seemingly grassroots, against data centers.

To assess the validity of these claims, it helps to know who AppLovin partners with. In 2016, the company agreed to be bought by Orient Hontai Capital, a state-backed Chinese private equity firm. The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, an interagency government body dedicated to monitoring the national security implications of large-scale business transactions, objected, and the deal was subsequently amended.

The Chinese connection, however, was far from over: One of the company’s largest investors is one Hao Tang, who, according to regulatory filings in 2025, owned 3.2% of AppLovin, valued at roughly $4.6 billion. Other reports claim that Tang controls, through shell companies, at least 9.8% of Class A shares, making him the company’s largest individual shareholder beside AppLovin’s CEO, Adam Foroughi, who told Fox News in April, when AppLovin was trying to acquire TikTok’s non-Chinese assets, that he remains the largest shareholder.

What’s striking about that? Grass roots doesn’t imply lack of organization, and custom, professionally made T-shirts and signs are readily available and cheap.

Print this up, and bingo bango bojack, ready to hold at a rally.

Edit: mo better.

Also grass roots efforts can leverage other efforts they feel align with what they want, and yes, cut and paste and reuse material.

That said, astroturfing is obviously a thing. But the things you mention above aren’t particularly indicative of something not being grass roots.

It’s not necessarily indicative, sure.

But who’s paying the bill? The people I know who’ve attended, for example, local no kings protests tell me they didn’t pay anything. Materials were just handed out. Point is that the less likely protestors make/pay for their materials themselves, the more likely it’s astroturfed.

The bigger point is made in the article, where support for NYC Mayor Mamdani’s election campaign was characterized as small-donor funding and grassroots effort but in fact was largely three large donations, one by an heiress and two that are linked (by Tablet) to the PROC.

It’s not even particularly indicative.

Eh. They cheap. You can get 100 decent hand held sized signs for under a couple hundred bucks. Maybe 100 for small ones.

Aaaand yer out!

I know a lot of good people in Maine. They can and do deserve better than this schmuck.

America needs a government which doesn’t shield dozens of powerful child rapists from accountability.

And maybe that can be had by forcing major political parties to not simply elect/promote water carrying Bozos just to fill out their congressional card, despite their loathsomeness.

So yeah— good luck with that. And before you get too sad, maybe look at the work DHS and the FBI has done wrt breaking up immigrant pedophile rings. Unless you feel that if the rich ones aren’t caught, it doesn’t matter.

Spoiler, it does.

Good riddance to date rapist Platner and good riddance to partisans exploiting sex crimes for political gain.

The attack on Platner bore all the hallmarks of a classic Democrat attack. Very similar to their attack on Justice Kavanaugh at his confirmation hearing.

Also, whatever cabal runs the Democrats these days doesn’t like the DSA, Mamdani, or Mamdani’s election guy, Morris Katz, who also found/groomed Platner. Rather, they don’t like being primaried by them.

Do you think Platner’s resignation was the result of inside machinations by the Democratic party?

Even as he withdrew from the race, Platner remained insistent that the accusations against him, as well as other controversies dating back to October, were false and part of a larger campaign “by the establishment to put structural pressure on us.”

“We live in a political system that is not built for normal people. It is a system that is built structurally to make sure that movements like ours cannot flourish, that if they begin to succeed, they can be crushed,” Platner said.

I see that Expat Dad has been given his marching orders and braying about “Commies” as if it’s still the 1980s and he fears his kids will star in a remake of Red Dawn. If Trump thinks his sudden pivot to McCarthyism 2.0 is going to turn the tide of the midterms he may be in for a rude awakening. (Not a red awakening :triangular_flag: ) It doesn’t help that Trump himself is a cartoonish caricature of a capitalist pig straight off the funnies of The Red Worker and ditto the corrupt, dystopian parody of crony capitalism practiced by the likes of Bezos, Thiel, Zuckerboy, Musk, etc., in which a handful of corporate agglomerations illegally monopolize most of the markets (one of the first reforms urgently needed is to actually enforce the antitrust & monopoly laws on the books, especially for the tech & media giants).

Like the Clintons?

We are going there

Such machinations certainly happen, and I wouldn’t outright dismiss the possibility. However this woman’s allegations seem credible and can be shown to pre-date Platner’s candidacy, which is ultimately what has done him in here.

FWIW, although Bernie has, the DSA hasn’t gotten too cozy with Platner. Not really their tribe. There is a lot of angst among more mainstream Dems about the DSA, Platner, and others coming more from the left, however. Because their side has done so well

Go there. Release the files so we can see what’s what, and if he’s guilty, lock him away. You won’t see many jumping to defend the Clinton’s no matter what like you will Trump and Co.

Yes. I believe Juanita Broaddrick’s accusation that Bill Clinton brutally raped her.

Makes sense. :winking_face_with_tongue:

Poundsand’s hero Mandani is wiping out the landscape of small landlords.

Greedy capitalists anyway.

Only big corporations can sustain zero profit and increased expenses. But corporations spend money on zero emissions so it’s all okay.

Illegals that have flooded the city raising rents and costs are getting their housing paid by us taxpayers so as long as they’re okay…

Oh New York New York may you reap what you sow
