Darn. I havenāt seen the pomegranate or caramel flavour anywhere in about a year and a half now. But thatās almost entirely looking in Danshui. I dunno, maybe because Danshui is supposedly the Arctic wastes, retailers think itās too cold to sell ice cream way out here.

Sorry, like I replied to Marco, I currently donāt wish to post addresses of specific places Iāve been recently on a public forum. So unless you can think of a better way, you and any other trusted members are welcome to send me a private message on here.
I know this may seem a bit cloak and dagger, or a bit of a wind up, but itās a tricky situation. I saw these and remembered how hard some of you had been looking for them. On the other hand, I have reasons for wanting to lie low for a while. I also canāt reveal the reasons except by private message.
The current plan is that if nobody messages me within a week, Iāll go back to both places and buy them all.

In Danshui? The pomegranate or caramel flavors? (Yeah, ice cream is moderately popular here, especially those tall cones on the waterfront.)
I did see one pomegranate flavour at a Family Mart deep in the bowels of Nangang Station yesterday. Price unlisted. Thatās the first one Iāve seen for sale in about a year and a half. But Iād just had an excessively large lunch at Bogartās, so I opted not to buy it. (I rarely eat ice cream āoutā, but prefer to bring it home, let it wait in the freezer, and eat later.)

Nah. I already had a significant amount of regret for having eyes bigger than my stomach at Bogartās. Adding ice cream on top of that would have been an error both strategic and tactical.
If by some chance Iād had a very effective cold-bag with me, sure, Iād have bought it and taken it home.

3 more pomegranate flavour, and in Taipei City this time. But with the recently cooler autumnal temperatures, maybe only if it reaches the predicted 30Ā°C on Saturday will it feel like ice cream weather.

Sorry, I just assumed everyone would think it was Family Mart again because they havenāt been seen anywhere else for a while. These are in Wanhua, but none of the stores around have them just this one. Expiration date is again Halloween, so the end of the stock, and may never be seen again after this. I still havenāt received any private messages and doubt if thereās room in my tiny top freezer for the stock from all three storesā¦

After not seeing Ekselence in stores for some time, my wife called the distributor and asked about it. A very nice lady answered our questions.
They wonāt be importing it for anywhere in the entire Southeast Asian region because of:
- Inflating costs
- Minimum quantity is too high
So that might be it for Ekselence in Taiwan 
We also shared this thread with them, since it has Ekselence-loving sharing their thoughts.

Most of sold in Taiwan is made in Asia, there have a few factories in Asia (FoodUnion in Japan and Asia)
