Well, that was an easy case to handle imho.

Funny the rebranding came from conservatives as climate change sounds more benign. As usual some of the best examples of misinformation and rebranding come from this guy (anyone remember Death Tax and Death Panels)? I’ll give conservatives one thing though, they are really good at spin:
“It’s time for us to start talking about “climate change” instead of global warming and “conservation” instead of preservation…“Climate change” is less frightening than “global warming”…While global warming has catastrophic connotations attached to it, climate change suggests a more controllable and less emotional challenge”.
