About the killing off of Spidey, that was only in the Ultimate universe, was it not? The 616 universe Spidey is still Peter.
Whenever Marvel or DC need mainstream attention, they kill off one of their main characters.
Oh, I know they love to kill of characters just to drum up sales, but the point I was making was that it’s not actually the mainstream Spider-Man who died, but the Ultimate Spider-Man, which is set in an alternate universe. So technically, the original Peter Parker Spider-Man is still web-slinging his way around NY.
