Where’s the ignore function?
I put Tigerman on my ignore list (nothing personal – it’s just that your avatar gives me a headache and flashes loudly to everyone in my office that just maybe I’m not on a work-related site 
). But his posts still appear in full for me. What’s up?

BTW, in Mozilla you can right-click on an image and “block all images from this site” bingo, no more vomit-inducing swirly things, or sandman’s little chappy.
As for the Ignore thingy, um… I dunno, I’ve never used it.

Are there some people one can’t ignore?
I found out just now that I can’t IGNORE jdsmith. I found out in the D&R Forum. Searched his posts and clicked randomly in some other threads he posted in and yup, confirmed that the IGNORE option isn’t there for jdsmith. Luckily I don’t want to but it’s a neat feature! 
Yes, you can’t ignore moderators (so you have to put up with my drivel :raspberry: )

Funny how that works, because if you ignored someone before they became a mod, they stay ignored… 
The person I have on Ignore stopped posting a few days after I started Ignoring them, so I cannot ignore them anymore. Is Ignore cursed like that? I remember reading about a poster knowing they were being ignored. Do you receive notification that another user is ignoring you?
The ignore button is not ignoring. And there is no ignore button under the poster’s name anymore?
Instead of ignore, use a cold icy stare.

The ignore feature is working. It is part of this set of Forum files. This morning, we were using a different set of forum files.
We will try to avoid disruptions like this.

I’ve been sick recently.
Outing myself: what happens when I click on the “ignore” button?? … 
There is always another way if the software ignore isn’t working properly. It consists of not reading the posts you don’t want to read.
I don’t ignore individual posters in this way. I ignore sections of Forumosa such as the political ones. In this way I preserve some measure of equanimity. But I think I have enjoyed or found useful at least one post by each established member (generally many more than one post each of course). Thus the software ignore is not a helpful option for me.

I would like to ignore all of Tigermans posts, but don’t see an ignore button? Has it been decided that his posts should not be ignored by the regular users?
