The January 6th commission and January 6th defendants

Reading back, best I can find is official Capitol Police statement said he died from “injuries sustained while on-duty,” “physically engaging” with protesters, so no specifics either way. But sure sounded like something physical as the proximate cause.

Gus Papathanasiou, the union chief, appears to be one who said he had a stroke (I think in an interview, vs official statement).

They arrested and detained for long periods a bunch of people for very little. So yes, it’s objectively weird that this guy wasn’t touched.

You said it, not me.

I didn’t realize the rot went so deep in DC. Depressing to watch the former Capitol Police Chief explain what really happened on January 6th.

it is so “in your face now” that only break up into regional factions appears likely.
the map of US in 2030s will not be the map of today

Interesting pushback at one aspect of Sund’s story.

Was googling up True the Vote to see whatever happened to Georgia’s attempt to get the data to see what’s what… unsurprisingly, in court, True the Vote says they got nothin’. Looks to be a grift to part right wing conspiracy nuts with their money.

Looks like a political armchair general
