The kids here are so great. I have been teaching my kids the meaning of “synonym” and “antonym” this week. We run through a quick exercise each day, where they name synonyms and antonyms to words I write on the board. A smile grew on my face as one asked, “Teacher, what is a synonym for synonym?”
Are you using some kind of electrical prod or implanted microchip device to goad the kids into answering? Why is this post in the Technology forum? And what’s a synonym for synonym?
I think it’s good to get technology into the classroom: I’m thinking of a taser.
Probly belongs in Teaching English.
Reminds me of the time a teacher asked the class for a word that rhymed with ‘boy’. One lad raised his hand and said ‘girl’. A true poet.

Low tech works too. Dunce caps if they’re caught speaking Chinese. Water pistols. Large inflated hammer bop on the head.
