I’m curious about my former colleague Sharky, who introduced me to forumosa and left Taiwan for another island in Asia a few years ago.

Comrade Stalin … still is, just not under this name … and he’s the same nasty poster …
MaPosquid pops up once in a while as he has no internet connection available most times where is hiding out …

You can catch the wit and wisdom of RivhardM at taiwanho.com. It won’t be very hard to figure out his identity over there. I think CS also posts there from time to time.
I miss Alien too. She rocks.
My favourite Forumosan left a long time ago. I never got to meet him IRL, but he was, imho, the wisest and funniest 'umosan to grace these forums. I speak of Hakkasonic. Where did he go?

I have to agree with you on that. I miss HakkaSonic a lot.
I miss daasgrrl too. And of course, Iris. And Wolf. And Alien. Man, I remember the first time I met all of those guys.
I miss MaKe the most.
I should post better topics and such so that one day I can be missed! Those lucky bastards!
