OTOH, social media provocateurs like to blow these things out of proportion for rage bait (which equals clicks and follows). I guarantee it’s only a handful of trolls and perverts who are saying that, and the reason she’s trending is simply because she’s a pretty huge celebrity whose husband died violently and unexpectedly.

The trilogy of satires of academic culture were spot on and hilarious, and I enjoyed Nice Work as well. The Art of Fiction is a must-read for any serious lover of novels and certainly any aspiring writer.

I don’t remember grad school in central London. I was inebriated the whole year but did rather well.
Chewy, you’re the same age as me. You weren’t even conceived in the 60s. My only clear memory of the 1970s is watching Star Wars.
