nice track, and the whole damn album is good - Remain in Light.

This was a ‘going-out’ tune in NYC. Volume - loud.

i sing that Yazoo song when i’m driving and a taiwan driver pokes his car’s nose out of a side-road. Don’t pull out - “Don’t go!”

Your throbbing gristle and my psychic tv were pushing it for electronic. But for respect to the labels 4AD and Factory, their artists need their own threads. Someone will just link to the entire catalog.

I used to think that I didn’t like electronic music until some friends noticed I only knew about all the crap and set me straight. This first one BLEW MY MIND the first time I saw it.

That is a good sunrise track.

In Taiwan the big one, after a night of dancing on the beach and with wet sand inching in between your toes as the waves came rolling in, the cool ocean breeze enveloping you, and the sun starting to appear from the horizon was a mix of these two:

Lot of interesting stuff here for sure, glad I started it, finally a thread I can listen to just about all the songs in

Saw a couple of Richard Kirk tunes up, which got me looking on the tube. Didn’t really see any of my faves there so i uploaded a few

One thing I have learned through these music threads is that many different people have many different interpretations of many things. I listened to other people’s music for reference before replying and don’t see any reason why this wouldn’t fit.

Agreed. If a song has a bass or guitar in it, doesn’t mean it’s not “electronic”. I was going to post some Brian Eno and Peter Gabriel earlier, but I thought that may be stretching it. However, I think of those two artists as more “electronic” than “rock”. It’s not an “Electronica” thread. :2cents:

BRIAN ENO AND PETER GABRIEL! They get my vote :sunglasses: !
