I’m not usually one to defend CNN, but the article actually does call Antifa an extremist group.
Ok they sneaked in a little bit of nuance there further down in the article…after years. And their hosts and guests have been pro Antifa through and through. Hypocrites
Yeah, they’re banking on the fact that a lot of their audience probably just reads the headlines.
Rare honesty from executive editor of the NYTimes discussing how they promoted the narrative of Trump-Russia until readers were tired of it but now plan to push a story-line of racism. It really does sound like the director of a television series discussing what they intend to do in the next few seasons.
If you see the number of Black Americans on YTube on his side, it’s understandable why they would need to push a new narrative.
It’s quite possibly the biggest story to this point in Trump’s term. It should have been on the front page and above the fold on every news website in the US since last Friday.
Instead, crickets. The US MSM is completely broken.

Influential black Americans. Blacks staying home was a factor in Trump winning in 2016 and nobody on the left is going to bring out voters like Obama did. If this reading is correct, I predict you will see a black VP candidate - however, Harris and Booker were already fairly mainstream and they haven’t gathered that much attention.
People are arguing about white nationalism and illegal Mexicans but black voters and suburban women are the demographics that matter in the next election.
I predict you’ll not see any “urban” voter suppression stories from the southpaws.

Have you seen the news coverage of this? I’ve seen several videos of Antifa attacking people, and none of the Proud Boys attacking others in Portland. But every article I’ve read implies that the Right is the cause of the violence and injuries.
I despise the radical left and CNN and the lot. They openly supported Antifa from the beginning because of their hatred for Trump. A quick YouTube video was it all would have taken. Trump is absolutely correct in calling them fake news. Proud boys are even called white supremacists how ridiculous.
Andy Ngo posted a video of Antifa attacking several buses - tossing what appeared to be concrete slabs and smashing the windows with hammers. The bus stopped and they rushed the door and started attacking the people inside. Initially, he reported they were attacking the buses with hammers (correct) but an edited portion of the tape appeared to show a person inside the bus came out the door with a hammer as well and the narrative became “Antifa, simply minding their business, was attacked by hammer-wielding madman”.
I haven’t seen any other videos of them being attacked - I have no idea who or what group were in any of the buses either.
i like that it’s broken. the Internet is opening up the eyes of many people who are open to hearing or thinking about the alternative to what media WANTS us to believe
