If the Democrats are headed to a brokered convention (i.e., Biden goes through with releasing primary voters’ commitments made to him, then loses on the first ballot), then this may be their typically Machiavellian way to justify nominating someone other than VP Harris.
Even though just about every Democrat in Congress, every Democrat governor, the DNC, and their media wings have been equally dishonest. The real problem, of course, is that most Democrats weren’t even honest with themselves about President Biden until June 27 this year.
Anyway, a brokered convention held in the age of smart phones would be pretty interesting to watch. I reckon it might illuminate for viewers a major source of Democrat dishonesty.
Though the data, which was shared widely with Democrats in recent days, found Vice President Kamala Harris performing better than Biden against Trump, it also shows that Republican attacks suggesting Harris wasn’t honest about the president’s health could be effective.
As Democrats look for a path forward, the findings showed that voters would want to see a competitive process to decide on an alternative nominee if Biden were to step aside.

Finally, there is the 25th amendment, the ultimate play, in which Democrats would remove Biden from office, his legacy in tatters. He would be the only president ever kicked out of office for losing his marbles.

Looks like yet another break for Mr. Trump as the Democrats’ fracture deepens and widens over the weekend.
“Elites” (donor class and swing state members of Congress) squaring off against President Biden, those not running or in safe Districts, and the progressives might just break the party if it goes on too long.
If the USA is lucky they’ll do irreparable harm to the Democrats’ 2024 prospects by early next week sometime.
“If the Democratic elites push Biden out and disenfranchise 14 million voters like me, the Democratic legislators are no better than Republicans,” said one top Biden surrogate focused on reaching Black voters. “Democrats lose the so-called save democracy argument, and it will appear racist.”
Let us be thankful as a nation that the self-destructive compulsions of the left are finally being put to good use.
