Never mind. Ughh. I’ll have to crack open my computer later.

Edit: Gonna take it now?

Thanks.

Gotcha :+1:. Should’ve been in Arts & Entertainment though, that’s why I initially didn’t find/see one.

You’re right. My mistake.

Why’s it closed?

?

Better win best actor. That was legendary work.

Roughly 4 hours til the ceremony now!

Re JP: I’d be surprised if he doesn’t. I put money down.

Made an amendment: VFX for 1917 instead of Endgame

I will also say that a very close runner up to Best Original Screenplay is Parasite. And for my Best Film Editing pick Parasite, the trophy might just get taken by Ford v Ferrari instead (I wouldn’t be surprised).

The Academy isn’t going to be that generous with Parasite IMO. They’ll certainly give it to for best foreign film.

1917 is going to sweep the awards. They love that sort of stuff.

Eviro for best actress? I don’t think so but could be since the Academy generally rewards AAs for those roles. However, Marriage Story was reviewed so strongly, I think they’ll take at least 3 home.

I hear ya. But the parasite script is just bonkers. It’s so undeniable I wouldn’t count it out… even though my official pick is Tarantino.

Oh no arguement. It was a brilliant piece writing I haven’t seen in awhile. Hollyweird could take a lesson or two.

Didn’t see OUTIH so can’t weigh in😞 but does the Academy even like him?

Scarlett Johannson was outstanding in Marriage Story, as was Laura Dern. I’d be surprised if those two don’t win in their respective categories.

Hollywood loves Hollywood. That, you can take to the bank.

You should watch it! Despite haters, I actually had a good time “living” in ‘60s LA.

When I don’t have to rent it I will. I generally watch his films.
