That was all early 90s, though. Gen X music. I was referring to late 90s to 00s post-grunge - Millennial music, nu-metal and the new kind of pop bubblegum that started with Britney and led to Taylor. There’s a definite line, just as there was between early 70s boomers and late 70s New Wave punks.

I have to admit, that’s exactly when I stopped listening to the radio. Though I’m millennial, but an outlier (definitely too young for GenX, in ways too old to be a Millennial)
That’s when I really got into techno. I missed anything after that cutoff until recent years now that it’s so easy to dig stuff up. I think of the years before as the Beavis and Butthead years… that was a key pathway to new music for me around here.

Canada has been marching pretty steadily down this path for over a decade. I don’t have much respect for civil servants generally, but I was downright disgusted by how deep the universities have gone in on this.

This time around, the researchers added one key variable that the 2020 researchers had overlooked — low birth weights — and the whole thing collapsed. The research design contained a fatal flaw, overlooking the fact that severely underweight babies, who have very high mortality rates to start with, tend to be treated by white doctors. Physicians who handle the most serious medical cases tend to see higher death rates.

If I have to guess what you mean then, yes, this is part of being human. However, the scientific method has been around for a fair few centuries. I know you are a big fan of philosophizers, but those French chaps really disenlightened matters.
Oddly, being unreasonable is rational. We’ve been dipping toes in the post modernist pool for decades and now I think people are doing cannonballs into the deep end in the dark.
It’s working itself out now, but some of the knots will be hard to undo. Counting should be easy tho. Like the Biden crime stats that are being misread on purpose . 
And dead babies.

Hard to tell if these people are simply stupid, or so fired up on bitter indignation that they’re misrepresenting what he said. Not a fan of the Pope or Catholicism, but I see nothing wrong with his answer. If people don’t like it, the obvious answer is to sign up with a secular religion that accords with their beliefs, instead of demanding the Church must change.
