The peak woke thread (Part 2)

During a subsequent district DEI training, the instructor told our staff that “all white people are racists,” and urged attendees to write “I’m a racist” on a sign, wear it, take a photo, and post it on social media as an act of acknowledgment. He even showed a photo of a participant who had done so.

Man if they even suggested I do that when we had our CRT, I’d have lawyered up immediately.

Wtaf!

I don’t care how shite your taste in music is, you shouldn’t be arrested for it. A bloody awful lot of wankers would be behind bars.

His friend is also a dick for leaking their private convos.

it does feel unlikely.

Deliberate release or not, he’s right about the “no fun party”. Progressive left are completely dour and humorless.

I just think "the party of sex drugs and rock and roll” when I look at that guy. Like the day after lol

The decade after.

Though he does have a point. When did the left become “lame” and the right become “cool”? That’s not my perception (I think they’re both kinda lame), but that seems how Gen Z males view it.

Oddly no one likes boring whiny woke scolds. Who could have guessed?

Yeah. And becoming overly sensitive and overly obediant to government authority also wasn’t cool. Plus, the rise of podcast bros basically coopting right talking points and helping the medicine go down with memes and jokes.

The right sort of co-opted counter culture cool, even as it became mainstream, possibly starting with the meme culture of 4chan and discord. Joshua Citarella talks about it.

Clashing religions really.
