Nothing shagadelic about losing your mojo
How to fight the Vise-Grip of depression between the two new year holidays

By WOLF REINHOLD

Click Here is a new column in POTS Extra that will cover everything from high-traffic discussion threads to online oddities at www.forumosa.com, Taiwan’s most popular English-language Internet forum.[/quote]

And that’s all. No story, no obvious link. Left me scratching my head. What am I supposed to do? Shouldn’t the link take me to something I can read, instead of an ad for something I can’t find?

Actually, that is my fault. David Frazier is in the States right now and i am covering fom him. I am finding Dave’s shoes to be difficult to fill so i am behind in the website duties. I will try to get it updated by Monday. Until then, I am afraid you will have to make due with the print issue.

This is a temporary blog… until the POTS Extra website can archive it on their own. Dave was sent an invite so that he can post the text once it’s ready for print

Only the first column is complete in the archive blog. It’s the only one on the POTS website that I could find. Chainsmoker, should I send you an invite so you can complete the other past columns?

Cheers

Oh, Chainsmoker, I did not put two and two together. (did you get my piece for next week?). So you are both a skilled martial artist and temp editor. Outstanding work.

take care,
Brian

Once upon a time, Forumosa had a column in POTS that discussed topics being discussed on the website. I’m still looking to bring back Taiwanease Magazine in print somehow, and would like resurrect this kind of “Forumosa’s Week in Review”

Any suggestions on how a feature like this would work? Back then, POTS paid NT$ 1,000 per article. That sounds like a good starting point. This would essentially be a weekly blog that reviews the chatter that is going on at Forumosa, maybe with an eye to give new Forumosans and new arrivals in Taiwan a brief look at what has piqued our interest.

I’ve posted in our blog the first column that was printed in POTS back in 2004: forumosa.org/2004/10/12/gues … -bacteria/

I need to dig through my back issues of POTS back in Taipei sometime to find the other columns. If there is any chance you have those issues, please let me know  Some of the other columns from back then:
