The REALLY HARD Bible Quiz

Q9: A - twice

“And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.” To me, this means the land was under the water, and once the waters had been gathered in one place, the land could be seen. Therefore that is once.
Noah’s flood covered the whole earth. That’s twice.

Q10: B
All the gospels are the same. Seeming differences are the result of textual problems or human weakness.

So I have decided to venture into this discussion.
Q9 D
The bible doesn’t say if Noah’s flood covered the whole earth or just the area referred to as the world according to them and it could also haqve been covered more times.
Q10 C Rugby. That would also explain why NZ has been unable to win the world cup for two decades even if they had the best team.
Both answers are aimed at eliminating incorrect answers to allow us to accidently stumble upon the correct answer as selected by the master stripe.
Q9–In the beginning and in the great flood. But I just know you’re gonna say “WRONG!”
You’re right. On both counts.

WRONG!!!

See. :sunglasses:

CORRECT!!!
Q10: B All the gospels are the same. Seeming differences are the result of textual problems or human weakness.
Incorrect.
So I have decided to venture into this discussion.
Your sense of foreboding is not lost. :astonished:
Q9 D The bible doesn’t say if Noah’s flood covered the whole earth or just the area referred to as the world according to them and it could also haqve been covered more times.
Hmm … well, I can’t agree with any of that.
Q10 C Rugby. That would also explain why NZ has been unable to win the world cup for two decades even if they had the best team.
The All Blacks are awesome, aren’t they? Your answer isn’t, but. :loco:

Clever man! :notworthy:

That’s not the process of elimination. You’re aren’t starting with a defined set of sins and narrowing them down. Maybe Paul was an observant Jew that really wanted to eat bacon, and he deemed it sinful to want to break God’s law. We have absolutely no idea what the thorn in Paul’s side is. You are simply speculating.

I was eliminating the other choices in the multiple choice quiz.

Q10: A

But your process of elimination was flawed. It wasn’t really a process of elimination. Furthermore, like Stripe’s ‘answers’ it failed to follow formal hermeneutical procedure. There was no historico-critical analysis, no genre analysis, no lexical-syntactical analysis. It was also logically incoherent.

CORRECT! !!!

Galatians 2:7. Which also doubles as the most controversial verse in the NT.

…from tapatalk and nexus s…

Have you actually read that verse. Your interpretation is the biggest BS I have heard on this thread.

Thanks, Stripe. It was fun.
Q9 - How many times was the Earth covered in water?
A: Twice.
B: Once.
C: Never.
D: The bible doesn’t say.
A. Once when the earth was without form and void, and the spirit of god hovered over the waters of the deep. And once during Noah’s flood.

What interpretation?

Q4 - How did God harden Pharaoh’s heart?
A: With plagues.
B: He willed it.
C: With liquid nitrogen.
D: The bible doesn’t say.
B.

“And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh” - Exodus 9:12

“And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart” - Exodus 10:1

(In other words, Goddidit.)
He sure f*cked those Gyppoes! :roflmao:
Q6 - What place did God give the name “Heaven”?
A: The Earth.
B: The sky.
C: The New Hebrides.
D: The bible doesn’t say.
None of the above. He gave it the name Ilsa Formosa, but then a shit load of Mainlanders came over in 1947-49 and f*cked it up for everyone. :fume:
Q8 - What was Paul’s “Thorn in the flesh”?
A: His poor eyesight.
B: Sin.
C: He was a homosexual.
D: The bible doesn’t say.
C would explain the state of the Catholic Church today. :2cents:
But I think the answer is D.
OK, then…

A double question to finish off:

Q9 - How many times was the Earth covered in water?
A: Twice.
B: Once.
C: Never.
D: The bible doesn’t say.
B. Say what you will, semantics or otherwise.
Q10 - Which gospel did Paul preach?
A: His own.
B: There is only one gospel.
C: Rugby.
D: The bible doesn’t say.
A, as in the Gospel according to Paul, although it isn’t called that. HC was right.
