The ROC to Defeat and Replace the CCP?

These last few weeks the ROC dollar is poised to replace that of its “mainland peer”’s yuan.

A small victory perhaps but it displays the dynamic that still exists between both governments and that should the opportunity arise the ROC in Kinmen, Taiwan and surrounding islands will replace its communist counterpart

Also to be clear - according to the US government United States “promised support” to the ROC… not of Taiwan…

Having the NTD as a carry-trade currency is not good.

This is not an existing currency.

And nobody wants Taiwan to replace the CCP. If the Kleptomaniac Triad wants to go back to China. Let them.

ROC’s dollar there you go

Did you check out the article?

Anyway let’s have this sit for a while and we will note the trends.

There is no such currency called ROC’s Dollar.

And it is stupid to think the people of Taiwan should even replace the CCP.

Did I call that the currency? You’re being disingenuous. You wanna get into semantics?

There’s no nation called Taiwan either.

Anywho - the currency used on the islands of Taiwan and Kinmen is poised to replace that on the mainland

You are the one who regularly pushes the semantics.

Is there a currency called ROC dollar or not?

And nations regularly use short forms that are used in common parlance.

There are long forms and short forms.

You regularly use ‘America’ to refer to a country that isn’t named America.

There is no such country named America.

If you are gonna employ pedantry, at least be consistent, and correct.

What is the currency used by the people of Taiwan called?

yes the currency is called the New Taiwan Dollar which is used by the Republic of China - that has never been a point of discussion so not sure why you’re making it one

You’re right there is no country called America. It’s been shortened but feel free to use the United States of America

It seems that the use of semantics/pedantry only seems to appear when it is convenient for you. At least be consistent.

If you call the United States, America, then it is perfectly valid to call the ROC, Taiwan.

Prove the above.

You’re being disingenuous and you know it.

I am being consistent I’m sticking to facts which seems to irk some of you on here…

What country is Athens in?

I would probably not post this. I might know something about the site rules.

I bid you a good day

Whatever you want day to mean

Answer the question. Am I wrong?

Hardly. I am reminding you of the facts. If you are gonna be as hardline on the facts, you might as well be A. Correct and B. consistent about it and not only when it is convenient for you.

So what country is Athens, the capital city of that country in Southeastern Europe, in?

If you wanna get me that’s fine but at least do it with fact and logic not with disingenuousnesses.

I probably could do with a good slap now and again

I asked you to prove the above statement you made about my insistence on semantics l. Now you’ve twisted the topic to Athens?

Anyway I will be posting more things that will continue to show the ROCs geopolitical imperative to ultimately defeat the CCP and become the true China one more.

This is deflection. What is the answer to my question? What country is it in? Your failure to answer leads me to believe that your argument has no water.

I have no problems with your opinions no matter how increasingly isolated they are.

I think the sentiment is dumb for numerous reasons. But a perfectly valid opinion nonetheless.

It’s Taiwan dollar or NT$, ROC is old money not used? Your link calls it Taiwan Dollars.

And to fight to China, Taiwan’s army is too small, will you fight for Taiwan? Now it’s only one year service much less than say Korea so smaller army.

Of all the sh&t coming down around us in 2025, the topic of this thread has got to be pretty close to the bottom of the priority list for anyone not reincarnated as the ghost of CCK.

I think it is worth noting that our mainland uses the New Taiwan Dollar, as do the outlying islands off our mainland Taiwan.

If you mean China, as in the People’s Republic of China, That is a different conversation.

It’s no secret the country of Taiwan has far better standards for banking and SOP than the country of China. Despite how people complain about wait times at banks, it has saved us through various hard times as a nation. But both fuck around with currency rates, as does any other country with math skills and economic fuckery. Its true the national currency of Taiwan is probably more stable than that of the country of China’s. But less leverage on the global stage, for very obvious reasons. This is old news.
