The Russell Williams interrogation & confessions- incredible

Mods: Don’t worry about the “interrogation” thing, it’s just a fully clothed guy sitting at a desk. No violence and very SFW.

Never mind this POS. Check out the techniques of the investigator. Those are some stealthy verbal skills.

Found an article about the investigator, Det. Sgt. Jim Smyth:

I don’t want to quote it, but if this interests you the article will too. Det. Sgt. Jim Smith is one smooth detective. Kind of makes me wish I’d gone into this line of work.

EDIT: If you don’t know, Russell Williams is a Colonel in the Canadian Air Force who has been convicted of murder and serial rape, and had a collection of stolen little girls panties. Williams was also a decorated military pilot who had flown Canadian Forces VIP aircraft for Canadian dignitaries such as Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, the governor general, the prime minister, and others.

Yeah! I really enjoyed that! Thanks for eventually posting something with some MEAT, Chuanzao.

Some people are really crap at lying to THE MAN.

I would think he’s be good at it. He couldn’t have gotten to be Colonel telling the truth all of the time. What transfixed me was the way the way Det. Smyth acted like he was on his side all of the time. This is after knowing the detals of the case - which included torture killings of women, and breaking into little girls homes and taking pictures of himself in their bedrooms wearing their underwear. (Yes, these pics are available on the net, but I am not linking to them.) :raspberry:
And he’s just talking to the guy like he’s not planning to put him away for 25 years. INCREDIBLE!

Can you imagine having a criminal investigator like that for a father? :astonished:

Fascinating.

“What are we gonna do?”

“Is there anything you want from me?”

“Anything I can do for you or explain?”

As a former DJ, I gotta say, there’s a lot of dead air.

What is wrong with the Colonel’s hair? :noway:
That, and his body language should be enough to warrant he’s in for a very long haul.
