The Shannon shut down?

Coming out of Dan Ryan’s last night I passed by the Shannon and saw a big To Let sign on the closed iron gates. Searched forums and didn’t see any mention of this, so I guess this is recent?

I remember visiting with Vikram, one of the investors, way back before it opened and all that fancy woodwork was being installed, privately thinking that the concept really couldn’t take off in Taipei. I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Wow! I’m surprised. I thought they were doing ok.

Maybe just moved to another location?

It’s a new, improved Irish theme pub but the ‘i’ is missing.

 Shut up!

With such bad service, poor quality food and over pricing next to a place with good food, great service at reasonable prices, I’m surprised it lasted as long as it did.

Hush hush, back in the boat … ship … carry on sailing …

That’s what happens when people don’t have the right management … maybe they could have asked me

LOL!

It’s another typical Taiwanese business ending… the owners screwed everyone over. There was a chance for new owners to re-open it, but more screwing over was done so it never ended up selling.

The place sucked. Overpriced. Fake. Enough said.
