Well, the debate’s largely done. But this may be the icing on the cake. Congrats to the grooms. Good for them. I’ve always supported the rights of anyone who wishes to get married. ---

America, which prides itself in being the most advanced country in the world, is falling behind in this category, with Canada, Spain, South Africa and the Netherlands ahead of it. It’s high time for America to take the fore again - so far only Massachusetts has made the grade. Come on, “Land of the Free”, what are you waiting for? ---
