How much rain vs clear sky do you get up there Alishan area?
Some really extreme heavy rains last week to Saturday but from Sunday toll today mostly sunny in the mornings some clouds in the afternoon but no rain.
26c here today though.
Taipei is getting foehn winds, hence the high heat.

Meanwhile Kaohsiung is getting hit with heavy rain showers and itâs like walking around in a greenhouse. Itâs all good on this little island.

Literally impossible. FĹhn winds in Taiwan are generally in Taitung or Hengchun. They canât cover the entire island.
Edit: I read that as Taiwan. I guess it might be fĹhning in Taipei.

Whatever wind that occurs next to typhoons and goes over a mountain, then comes back down very heated because not only is it getting compressed, itâs preventing thermals from going up, leading to extreme heat.

Yeah imagine moving to an island in the tropics to find it out it rains a lot and has humidity and high temperatures. Shocker.
