The Term "Booty Call"

Is this term known globally? I use it sometimes and some foreigners know what I’m talking about.

Some foreigners have no clue and point-blank ask me what do I mean or what am I talking about?

Example: “I want to stay longer but I just got a booty call.”

Similar to “hey I just got a call for Netflix and chill”

booty call

Someone who you have no emotional attatchment to, who is only used for sexual encounters. A used person.

I’ve met many foreigners here who would challenge the Taiwanese for social skills.

Sometimes it feels like a mild level of autism or Asperger’s is required for success.

I think I first heard that term in Taiwan.

You are one smooth ass mother fucker. This thread is the humblest of brags.

Fair play to you, my brother. :sunglasses::sunglasses:

Just Americans and those very familiar with American pop culture/African American culture. And the term is a little dated these days. Younger people may not be familiar with it.

I’m already 4mm smooth or less all around up and down.

TMI. I don’t usually share such personal info. Or maybe I do.

I have never heard of this term before I saw this thread.

I guess I just don’t get those kind of calls.

I know what a “booty call” is, but I’d actually never heard the term “go Dutch” until I came to Taiwan and kept hearing Taiwanese people use it.

Or maybe there’s some Canadian term for it?

Maybe Americans would think it’d be, for Canadians, an “out and abouty call.”

Still haven’t heard of it.

Another Americanism

I feel like people don’t use booty call anymore. “I’m going to call up stupid fuck boy because I’m thirsty” :joy:

Edit because I’m tired

British racial abuse from the Anglo-Dutch Wars. Like ‘Dutch uncle’ and ‘Dutch courage’. In Taiwan probably from learning English from old textbooks.
English uses ‘French’ for oral sex, French uses ‘vice anglais’ for masochistic flogging. Isn’t it nice how we slag our neighbours?

I’ve never heard ‘French’ for oral sex. Is it an American thing?

The familiar phrase is “French kissing” involving some (ahem) deep throat action. Or so I have heard.
