For anyone following the case, George Zimmermans lawyers are filing for a second time to depose Benjamin Crump (representing the Martin family). There is a couple of articles in the news about this, but even they it seems are confused, focusing on the fact witness 8 was 18 not 16, or she wasn’t in the hospital when she said she was. No, this is because Benjamin Crump swore he handed over all relevant tapes to the defense regarding the interview, and then a couple of weeks ago, in an obscure part of the ABC website, a three minute, previously unknown and undisclosed recording is found. I’d say living in the U.S is more like living in a funhouse, where nothing is exactly as it seems. It will be especially amusing if a man with multiple felony arrests – all dismissed or reduced under mysterious circumstances which perhaps have something to do with the fact that his father is a retired judge – once again escapes justice because it’s deemed that a teenager with no felony arrests had no right to stand his own ground or use deadly force when he either liked to pick fights with complete strangers for no apparent reason or he felt that his own life was in danger – which it turned out to be.
