Having had some, I wouldn’t normally wish one on my worst enemy.
In this case I wouldn’t either, since its not clear to me that, unless actually fatal, a stroke would get rid of him.
The system doesnt seem to be set up to reliably protect itself from predatory or incompetent presidents.
Apologies to any sane readers. While looking to see who might have “liked“ this post, I accidentally did so myself, and there isnt a compensatory “dislike“ button. Oops.
Apart from the obvious negative that its in praise of Trumpworld, (FFS!) the Cretinously Arbitary Reactionary Menomic Elucidating Nothing (CARMEN) is quite irritating.
OTOH, and TBF, it does manage to avoid blaming it all on the PRC, perhaps a first for this poster?
Brother you can just click the heart again to unlike. Not giving these trolls even accidental praise is the least we sane-minded can do.
Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and press the wrong button.
“Interestingly, Chevron have a special dispensation to continue operations in Venezuela. Wonder how they got that.“
Not really an awkward moment. When you are shameless, there’s no such thing.
You can toggle likes within a certain time frame, just hit it again
I assume I cant have missed Trump actually withdrawing the US from NATO. in which case this is an AI generated
fantasy?
Withdrawal would require 2/3 majority in the senate, and he probably wouldnt get it,
Already done. They must have found
someone else to “like” it
You can click on the “like button” and select the same symbol twice to remove your existing “like”.
Any doubts still that Trump is a communist? Again he makes the government stealing private companies claims…
Exxon, ConocoPhillips…
They still have outstanding claims on $12B and Trump stops them from getting their shareholders money back…
True Communists are probably rather rare these days. In Trumps case, his auto-kleptocratic Fascism would get in the way, and takes precedence.
“A U.S. agreement with Venezuela’s interim leaders would provide up to 50 million barrels of crude oil to the U.S., where numerous refineries are specially equipped to refine it.“
I’d bet those are mostly Chevron refineries, since they had special dispensation to operate in embargoed Venezuela when it was an independent country. (Venezuelan oil is especially heavy so requires special refining, and Chevron has an especially dodgy record, even among oil companies).
Its The Art of The Steal.
Fascism and communism in many ways are just different words for the same thing, there are some differences but more similarities
IF that is true, why choose the C-word? More offensive to Americans?
Perhaps I’m choosing the F-word because its more offensive to everyone else, but I think its also better shorthand to the truth
A simplistic example might help:
The Cubans are Communists
The Mafia are not
Because what Trump does here, is to keep the money in the government instead of paying it back to the private sector. That is more Communism than fascism
THAT is. Trump isn’t
Perhaps we could compromise on National Socialist?
No thanks
What people say is not as important as what they do
Especially in Trump’s case, where what is said often makes no sense even if one could believe it.
He isn’t really any kind of socialist.
Sociopath, maybe. National Sociopath?
