Looks like she is trying to say anything to get in at this point.
Similar to how Trump duplicitously leveraged “lowering the price of groceries” to dupe people into thinking he wasn’t just going to be a mouthpiece for the billionaire class.
In-the-know Republicans knew that Trump was doing that, but looked the other way. I strongly doubt they are going to let this interestingly timed flip-flop from Gabbard go though, for obvious reasons.
Certainly this pivot must hurt Gabbard’s branding with her followers – who essentially follow her because she seems to be one of the avatars against DEEP STATE injustice (let’s just forget about her flirtations/idea synchronization with actual dictators).
A real hat trick now would be her trying to go to Russia to catch up with her old pal Assad
