Hu ? I drove rather offensive in Europe, but learned in 8 weeks to drive deffensive here, though it pisses me off when those guys “close the door” in front of a roadblock for example. :fume:
It does not fit with what they think about themselves… They claim to be nice and friendly, but once in their car, another story starts.
We even have a guy in the company which his father gave him the name of Shumacher… :s Guess he has to defend his given name on the road either…
When I was in Japan we took the tour bus through Tokyo on Saturday evening. There was a lot of traffic and we were waiting in a long line for the exit off the freeway. One single line, because it was one lane. And I thought if this was Taiwan there would be all the cab drivers and many of the other drivers all bunched up at the front trying to butt fuck their way into the line.
So my answer is yes, Taiwan drivers are rude, inconsiderate assholes.
I have been passanger with numrous drivers here, not including taxi drivers, and I find most of them to be pretty normal in their traffic behaviour. I am probably more aggressive than most of them. It’s not always rudeness and aggressivness is connected - I am not rude in traffic.
Drivers are not the problem, as they DRIVE a customer to and from and propably feel responsible.
Taxi drivers are worse
Old car own driver are more worse
Blue Van drivers should be banned from this planet.
