Anyone ever hear of pigeons fitted with whistles on their backs when their fly? I saw this on TVBS a while back, but never heard of this before.
Don’t know about whistling pigeons, but I have seen singing crabs:
love it Mother!
I don’t know how old the practice is, but I certainly saw and heard whistling pigeons when I was teaching in China in the 80s. I never saw the whistles close up, though, so I don’t know what they looked like. I assumed they were attached to their legs because they weren’t dragging anything.
