This video is a perfect example of how cameras do not prevent traffic accidents and crashes. Only increasing the number of competent traffic police who take people’s licenses away at every instance of moronic behavior will reduce the number of incidents.
True, but I don’t think that kid will be behaving like a moron again. At least that’s one less to worry about out there.
I wouldn’t ride a bike through a green light at that speed, let alone a red one, or (even worse) an uncontrolled intersection. It sounds harsh, but he got what he deserved. I’m just glad no innocents appeared to be hurt in the process.
$100 pudding bowl helmet? no gloves? fat straight-through exhaust? modded lights and indicators?
what’s the bet on each of them…
poetry in motion… I only hope that all cretins like that guy eventually meet this kind of just desert, detroying themselves and their bikes but nothing and no one else…
notice the arsehole rubber necker on the scooter waiting at the lights… for a second it looks like he’s going to turn back and see if he can help the crasher, but nope, just moving to get a better look, then continue with Taiwanese SOP of pretending he’s occupying a parallel universe and nothing happened…
Neither of the liveleak links work for me.
you can hear the guy starting to break right before he hits the scooter about when the scooter is half way to getting hit… pretty crazy accident and he can still move his arms like that…
:roflmao:
Anyone catch the spider ? What does that say about Taiwan’s efforts to maintain traffic?
