This video is a perfect example of how cameras do not prevent traffic accidents and crashes. Only increasing the number of competent traffic police who take people’s licenses away at every instance of moronic behavior will reduce the number of incidents.
True, but I don’t think that kid will be behaving like a moron again. At least that’s one less to worry about out there.
I wouldn’t ride a bike through a green light at that speed, let alone a red one, or (even worse) an uncontrolled intersection. It sounds harsh, but he got what he deserved. I’m just glad no innocents appeared to be hurt in the process.

notice the arsehole rubber necker on the scooter waiting at the lights… for a second it looks like he’s going to turn back and see if he can help the crasher, but nope, just moving to get a better look, then continue with Taiwanese SOP of pretending he’s occupying a parallel universe and nothing happened…
