perhaps try shopping at an upmarket department store? plenty of designer stuff that even the italians and french don’t complain to be “cheap crap” - e.g. sogo, mitsukoshi, takashiyama…?
and i’ve seen mega cup sizes here - again, the department stores…if the bras here are too small for u, can u even find the right sizes overseas? u must get your underwear custom made…

Yes, but they are expensive and poor quality. This is precision engineering we’re talking about…

Yeah, but I am tall (very tall by Taiwanese standards) and fat, with big feet - read ‘normal sized’ back home. The bras here are all padded - which I most definitely don’t need.
The clothes here, even in the department stores, seem cheap and poorly made, even when they are expensive. But I think it depends on 1. your size, and 2. where you are from.

Not been here long enough to miss anything…
Although some hot spicy salty liquorice is always hard to find outside of scandinavia or northern germany, so that’s something I have missed for quite some time.
And decent finish rye bread is impossible to get hold of anywhere outside of finland/sweden…
But now I’m being picky so hey
Got to say that so far I really love it here, it’s so peaceful compared to london.
Feel free to call me nuts
Ikea has it. Not the best kind, but it has it. Little fish-shaped salty liquorice bits.
since its fairly inexpensive to set up a trading company in Taiwan. I am surprised that a more enterprising person on forumosa doesnt realize there is a need here in Taiwan and endeavor to fill it. Open up a store in each major city Taipei,Taichung,Tainan,Kaohsiung, Hualien,Taitung for example selling just such “foreign” things at fair prices . IM sure it would be EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL !!
start out with one store maybe and get those items here that foreigners crave and go from there.

Listen to the same song long enough and maybe you’ll start humming the tune.
Anis(got it by mail), cardemon(got it by mail), some vegetables(growing myself), bread(making myself) clean air(wont get it)
I’ve got some clean air you can borrow. There’s plenty to go around up here in the mountains.
