Things I wish they'd invent

1.) waterproof face masks. really wish these were around esp. now when it’s cold and rainy… nothing worse than a wet, soggy mask when it’s time to get back on the scootie.

2.) some kind of guage, similar to that on a scooter or in a car, to show how much gas is left in the tank. nothing worse than running out of hot water during these chilly mornings.

Just got a new gas tank about 30 minutes ago.
I’ll 2nd your gauge request. I always ask the gas guy about this and he does the same funny mime routine about shaking the tank to check the quantity.
Baffles me. I can tell when its full, but not when its low enough to get a new one. Luckily when we call, he’s usually (always - so far) knocking on the door in 10 - 15 minutes if not sooner.

Self-correcting paper.

Self-correcting boys.

women who admit when they are wrong

Not waterproof, but close enough: respro.com/popup_city.php Does me good.

UNDO button for real life.

But on the more realistic side: cellphone that can carry two or more SIM cards at the same time. It’s annoying to carry two phones around all the time.
Maybe they have invented this already?

In this case it turns into a liquid at 220 kPa. This means that when it evaporates (due to you turning on the gas and lowering the pressure) it is always at a pressure of 220 kPa. So a pressure gauge wouldn’t help.
Even vegetarians know this…

(or you could weigh the bottle it to measure how much gas is in it, that would work)

Male contraceptive pill

Can I undo the past 10 years just cuz I want 20 year old ass again?

What? You’re living in this part of the world and you aren’t getting twenty year old arse?

Erh, forgive me.

There are inexpensive stick-on “gauges” available for the sides of propane tanks…don’t know whether these would work for LPG tanks or not. Probably not. :frowning:

Yeah, I never met a man who even remembered where his keys were everyday! Napalm yer k… if it makes you feel better, but I can’t see womankind falling for that one.

I want hot fizzy drinks, and a comfortable bathtub that is kind to your back, offers a reasonable depth of water without wasting too much water, and keeps most parts of you warm but without boiling the family jewels. (Actually I have a mental design for the bath already. No progress on the hot fizzy drinks though).

Weigh the cannister full, and again when empty. Then, keep your tank on the scale. End of problem.

I have a feeling regular bathroom scales will lose their calibration if you leave something on them. So you’d have to keep putting it on the scale and taking it off again. Or you could use an actual scale:

And then some complicated arrangement of ropes, pulleys, full and empty tanks, and possibly witches.

It’d be great.
