Things to do at night in Taipei if you are not a nightclub person

Is there any fun things to do at night time ( late night usually after 1 am) that do not involve alcohol/clubs/smoking in Taipei?
We always try to find something to do but the only options available at that time seems to be a couple movie theaters, massages and a few local food places.
Those are all great but they do get boring after a while.

Hang out at 24hour Eslite

Bowling / pool

Tea drinking and talking to friends at a tea place

Bug catching for big collecting

Mix the night up: go dancing, have a snack, switch clubs, then breakfast places

late night bike ride on the bikeway, outdoors at night is where it is at. feed the strays some raw chicken wings maybe?

Catching insects. It is better at night. You go out into the mountains with nets and lights and special containers and get some specimens to mount and collect.

When you say “we”, does that mean 2 people or many people?

Taipei is boring as hell, but try

Late night go to YMS have snacks watch the stars, hook up with people heading to the beach for some surfing, or like me sometimes just lay on the beach for a few hours.

Hang out at the local convenience store and chat with the other people.

Hit all night clubs. Don’t drink, just watch.

Go to all night workspace or gaming shop.

Walk the streets, see new things.

KTVs go all night.

Massage always available.

All night movies in Ximenting.

Shrimp fishing.

Play some pool.

A lot of hobbies can be pursued at all times of the day. For example:
(1) Learn to pay the trumpet or percussion
(2) Trampolining
(3) Line dance
(4) Metal work
(5) Yodelling

The middle of the night is the best time to catch bugs. I turn on the kitchen light, and there they are.

Lol we mean outside like doing stuff as a couple rather than staying in all the time. I mean sometimes we cannot sleep and if it’s on weekends it would be nice to have options.

Sex. It helps to sleep (this works at least for men).
