That they do that in Flint, of all places that would not qualify as Stepford like in any way, says a lot.
So banning gardens ok but 50k for an Xray should be left to market freedom?

can confirm, the clinic down the street has an MRI machine. I paid 700 NT and had to only wait 2 days for an appointment
Another double whammy:
If you do it in the US, Ok, but force it on others⌠health bullying. So instead of adopting a people oriented model, it is the âinvestorâ oriented. But arenât people the investors?
âWhat happened was tantamount to blackmail, with the U.S. holding the world hostage and trying to overturn nearly 40 years of consensus on the best way to protect infant and young child health,â she said.
In the end, the Americansâ efforts were mostly unsuccessful. It was the Russians who ultimately stepped in to introduce the measure â and the Americans did not threaten them.
Good.
Most infant formula goes to the Third World, where it causes the most problems: ie., malnutrition and poverty (because infant formula is fâing expensive, relative to salaries). The worst thing about it is that, because most people in the âtarget marketâ are woefully uneducated and the sales pitch is slick, they lap it up. They genuinely believe formula is the best, and prioritize money for buying it.
Meanwhile, in the West, the message about formula milk being second-rate has mostly got through, and not many people are interested.
It never ceases to amaze me how backward they are in the US re. economic thought. If somethingâs obsolete or useless, the true capitalist would let it die in a ditch. Patronage capitalism still seems to be the order of the day Stateside, despite the fact that itâs been causing mayhem there since ⌠well, probably before the Civil War.
Woman dependent on oxygen tank dies after provider cuts off electricity
This is genuinely disturbing and borderline comical.
