Goodbye Fiend. Question is who’s going to be first husband if Bill C. ends up doing time in the big house rather than the White House?

Fat Albert goes first, of course, followed by the rest of the gang. Hey hey hey!

EDIT: Oh sorry, I spaced for a minute. I thought you meant the first husband of Bill COSBY.

That should work. If anybody asks why Bill Clinton, much like Bill Cosby, never denied Juanita Broaddrick’s public accusation that he raped her just yell Benghazi at them until they go away.

Sorry, I thought you were referring to Slick Willy’s visits on the Lolita Express to Orgy Island to have romps with underage sex slaves.

If your point is that Clinton is a lying sleazy scumbag who used his position to sexually harass women, I agree totally.

My point is that both Bill Clinton and Bill Cosby are hiding behind their lawyers from the dozens of women who have accused them of rape and sexual assault and neither could get away with it without their enablers. Now back to Benghazi or whatever it was that you were saying is more important.

Meanwhile in Chicago…

Remember, the police are the enforcement arm of the government. Police brutality is government brutality. Police ineffectiveness is government ineffectiveness. The blue state model is both brutal and ineffective.

Government is where all of society’s conflicts of interest become concentrated.

Widows and orphans (allegedly) run amok:
Police in the western German city of Cologne responded on Monday to outrage over a string of sexual crimes over New Year’s Eve. According to police, the series of assaults in one of the city’s busiest thoroughfares represented a “completely new dimension of crime.”

Some 90 criminal complaints, including one allegation of rape, have been brought to the Cologne police department after women said they were molested by a crowd of men who had gathered in the city’s famous square between its central train station and towering Gothic cathedral. Authorities expect more victims to come forward in the next few days.

City police chief Wolfgang Albers said the crowd was composed of up to 1,000 heavily intoxicated men who gave the appearance of being “Arab or North African” in background.

At least they’re not wearing brown shirts this time?

I presume you’re referring to this time:
Knifing victim and newly elected Mayor of Cologne Henriette Reker has begun her duties in public a month after a suspected anti-immigrant extremist stabbed her while she was campaigning. . . . Reker, an independent candidate, won Cologne’s election on October 18 while in a medically induced coma after having sustained severe knife wounds.

Addressing the issue of a resurgent far-right in Germany, Reker said: “I want to tell those in the far-right corner very clearly, violence and hate belie themselves. They can never be the solution. There is no alternative but dialogue.”

Her 44-year attacker, a Cologne man with a past record of far-right activities, faces charges of attempted murder and causing grievous bodily harm for attacking Reker and four members of her team, who were standing at a campaign stall in a well-to-do Cologne suburb.

Reker said she was handing out roses when the attacker pulled out a knife while smiling in a friendly way and lunged at her neck. She fell to the ground and tried to hold the wound together.

The knife severed her windpipe. City officials said earlier this week her convalescence was well advanced and that Reker would initially be guarded by police.
If your disturbed substance-abusing child was arrested for domestic abuse and threatening to kill himself by sticking an AK-47 under his chin you would:

a) rush home to see what you as a parent could do

b) blame Barack Obama and continue your triumphal tour of Iowa with The Donald.

This one could go in so many threads, but I thought I’d give this one a bump…
Frank Henkel, Berlin’s minister for internal affairs, condemned the violent acts committed by left-wing anarchists on Saturday night, the second night in a row the city has seen such violence.

Between 50 and 100 rioters stormed through the neighborhood of Neukölln in the early hours of Sunday morning, setting fire to 20 cars and throwing at least one stone at a police car. The previous night, between 20 and 40 masked rioters on bicycles burned 28 cars and smashed windows in the Kreuzberg district of Berlin.

Calling the incidents “terrorist acts,” Henkel said, according to the German dpa news agency, the chaotic images showed “that with leftist anarchists only destruction follows, and that they have no respect for the property of their fellow citizens.”
Remember, fascism has left wing origins, and it didn’t fall far from the tree.

These awful anarchists. Why can’t they be more like their progressive brethren, and do all their theft and vandalism under the guise of government?

As does neoconservatism, which would explain its propensity for endlessly hatching plans to engage in state sponsored vandalism under the guise of caring.

© hope nobody remarks upon your abject failure as a parent.

One of your better rejoinders, and only mostly false. However, the rise of Islamic terror is causing such snark to seem ever more hollow.

It’s the guise of caring - about what happens to us. Self defense is so very selfish. Still, there is something cloyingly pseudo-idealistic about pretending we’re doing it for their sakes. Ayn Rand would have rained scorn on such needless rationalization of perfectly reasonable impulses. ISIS are at least honest about their motives.

A neoconservative is a liberal who’s been mugged by reality. When you’re a liberal, you have to rationalize everything you do in terms of some selfless motive. When you’ve been mugged, you want to go full Death Wish. Put the two together, and you have missionary zeal for peacekeeping. Thus was Team America born.

Make the world safe for democracy. There’s a formulation that comes close to the whole truth. And those who don’t want freedom? Screw those bastards. It’s us or them.

Social environmentalism: clean up the streets of the planet. Replace the crying injun with a a crying eagle.

I would argue that the Islamic State owes its success, if not its very existence, to the tireless state sponsored vandalism of neoconservatism.

Speaking of thug culture, looks like the revolution will be…postponed.
BURNS, Ore. — After 41 days, the armed occupation of a rural Oregon wildlife refuge ended peacefully here Thursday as the last four anti-government activists surrendered to FBI agents, following a dramatic and emotional hour-long negotiation with the final holdout broadcast live on YouTube.

After repeatedly threatening to shoot himself, complaining that he couldn’t get marijuana, and ranting about UFOs, drone strikes in Pakistan, leaking nuclear plants and the government “chemically mutating people,” the last occupier, David Fry, 27, lit a cigarette, shouted “Hallelujah” and walked out of his barricaded encampment into FBI custody.
Yes you would, wouldn’t you?

Chicago, of course. Democrats, of course. because it’s Chicago.
Police said Zwolinski was attacked outside his campaign office in the 800-block of North Ashland Avenue around 9:15 p.m. on March 6.

“If he’s going around saying a girl beat him up, that’s really sad too, especially a little 5’2” girl. Maybe it’s good that he lost the race," Avila said

Zwolinski said he saw Jessica Soto and Fichter were putting up signs near his office. All sides agree Zwolinski got out of his car, exchanged words and pulled down Jessica Soto’s signs. Prosecutors say Fichter punched Zwolinski, and Jessica Soto squeezed his genitals, stapled his forehead, kicked him, and struck him with a bottle.
