I never seen Tibetans, even if I saw one I wouldn’t know anyways, not having had much exposure to them. However a long time ago I remember doing some translation jobs for a Tibetan Buddhist organization in Taiwan.
A nice follow-up story on this resilient man has appeared, telling the story of his music and how it kept him grounded when he was a stateless refugee and how it has changed over the years in Taiwan.

Very interesting story. I wonder does he do many public performances?
I’m sure he does, although I am not clever enough to access the details.
It appears he also has a number of albums, as analyzed by that professor from Taipei National University of the Arts in the story linked immediately above.
