It’s odd how Sean can’t manage to book any Taiwanese bands. Personally I’d like to see more Taiwanese on stage and fewer English teachers. And, no disrespect to the Basin Ramblers but how many times have we seen them this century?
He had some Taiwan bands in previous years.
It’s a huge effort to put on. Seems like more focusing on foreigner entertainment to attract locals for exposure and fun and something different.
I remember seeing Mouse on the Keys there a few years back which was amazing.

His wife told me they don’t have any contacts anymore with local bands.

I think it’s $500 in advance and $700 day of show.
They really did a lot of site preparation this year so should be really nice.
Wish they would advertise the vendors more. Haven’t found advertising about the vendors and that’s not good two ways.
- vendors don’t get much exposure
- don’t know what food and other things are available before you arrive
